This Privacy Policy explains how Mariya Grinina ("I," "me," "my") collects and uses your personal data when you visit my website, contact me, apply for 1:1 coaching, or register interest in a retreat or event.

I am the "data controller" of your personal data under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. What Personal Data I Collect

  • Contact details: name, email address, phone number

  • Enquiry and application information: details you submit through our contact forms or questionnaires (hosted via Typeform), booking forms, or in correspondence with us

  • Payment details: for coaching sessions, retreats, or events (processed by our payment provider — we don't store full card details)

  • Website usage data: IP address, browser/device type, pages visited, referral source

  • Cookie and advertising data: see Section 5

2. How I Use Your Data

I use your data to:

  • Respond to enquiries and process applications for coaching or retreats

  • Deliver and administer coaching sessions, retreats, and events you book

  • Process payments

  • Send information you've requested

  • Send marketing emails about upcoming offers, retreats, or events, where you've opted in (you can unsubscribe anytime)

  • Run and measure my advertising

  • Meet legal and accounting obligations

  • Improve my website

3. Legal Basis for Processing

  • Contract — to deliver coaching, a retreat, or event you've booked

  • Consent — for marketing emails and advertising cookies

  • Legitimate interests — to respond to enquiries and run my business

  • Legal obligation — for tax and accounting records

4. Who I Share Data With

I don't sell your data. I share it only with the third parties who help me run my business, including:

  • Typeform, for my questionnaires and forms

  • Squarespace, my website and booking platform

  • Mailchimp, my email marketing platform

  • My payment processor, for handling bookings and payments

  • Meta (Facebook/Instagram), for advertising and analytics

  • Co-facilitators, where a retreat or event is delivered jointly, limited to what's needed for them to help deliver the event

  • Professional advisors (accountant, legal counsel) where necessary

  • Authorities, if required by law

Each of these third parties has its own privacy policy governing how it handles your data. Some may process data outside the UK/EEA under appropriate safeguards.

5. Cookies & Advertising

My website uses cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta Pixel, to understand site usage, measure ad performance, and show you relevant ads (including retargeting) on Instagram/Facebook. You can control cookies via your browser settings, and where required I'll provide a cookie consent option.

6. How Long I Keep Your Data

  • Coaching, retreat, and booking records: kept for the duration of our working relationship plus 6 years for legal/accounting purposes

  • Enquiries that don't proceed to booking: kept for 12 months, then deleted

7. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, request data portability, and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

I take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.

9. Children

My services are intended for adults. I do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
